Alloso Technologies was founded in 2007 to help hoteliers manage cross-brand properties effectively. The platform aggregates disparate hospitality systems and normalizes hotel financial and performance information for management companies and asset managers.
"We're trying to revolutionize how hotel portfolios are managed," says co-founder Jon Gorman. "We focus on the domestic market but we also have a few international clients."

Favorite thing about Durham
The city's character. "While my business is located in Raleigh, I often find myself in the Durham American Tobacco campus," Jon says. "It reminds of what I used to see up in Boston or California, with a greater community feel and a closer-knit group of companies and entrepreneurs."
Jon also enjoys the office spaces in downtown Durham. "It seems that the office space lends itself to creativity," he says. "I don't see much of that in Raleigh."
