Schmap Startup Profile
Based in Carrboro, Schmap develops map and location-based technology. In 2006, the startup first released digital travel guides that tied together professional and user-generated content. Since then, Schmap has become s a leading publisher of digital guides with more than 90 million Schmap Guides downloaded since launch.
